I believe it's not the destination in life that's important but the journey. It's too easy to sacrifice personal dreams and family time in the pursuit of personal career, status and wealth and to constantly 'fast forward' your life without taking time out to enjoy simple pleasures with the people you love
I can honestly say I love my job, I enjoy meeting people, be they a happy couple, individuals or proud parents with their little ones. My life is about recording and sharing in my clients most special life events. It keeps me focussed on what the important things in my own life.
I have a beautiful wife to whom I've been married nearly 10 years, a gorgeous little girl and a baby boy just starting to walk. when I'm not working we spend as much time together as possible, they grow up so fast and I'd hate to miss it.
Between work and family I somehow manage to fit in time to volunteer with the Army Cadet Force where I help out as a semi-responsible adult, helping to teach teenagers the value of self discipline, military and life skills. This gives me a lot of pleasure with fun but incredibly tiring weekends away and one or two evenings a week improving my local community.
