Fairy Portraits Hampshire
Fairy PortraitsFolklore surrounding fairies can be traced back centuries, they feature in great works of literature by William Shakespeare and in hundreds of children's stories, which even took on the name 'fairytale'. The tale of fairies is an enduring echo of a simpler and more innocent past and to this day little girls dream of fairies. For children a fairy portrait session is about dressing up, we have the most gorgeous fairy dresses available for you little one to borrow or to buy for a special treat. For parents a fairy portrait makes a wonderful record of your child's innocence and imagination before they become too 'grown up' or self conscious for dressing up games. Apart from anything else, they are just SO cute! The SessionWhen you arrive you will be shown a small selection of dresses based on age and asked if you would like to buy one or use one of our loan dresses. After quickly changing your little one, I'll take a variety of shots which should take no longer than 30 minutes, usually less as your little ones often have a short attention span! What happens Next? After the session I select the best images to display, then work on those images to further enhance them. A few days after the portrait session we arrange a viewing session where you come back to the studio in order to view the images at full size on a digital projector. I don't do hard sell, I let the pictures do that! I simply show you a small slideshow of images then run through each one and you tell me whether you want it or not. If you are coming from outside the local area, I can arrange a web gallery for you to view your pictures without having to return for a second trip. Trouble Tots!Sometimes a baby or small child just doesn't want to play ball. The trick is stay calm and keep having fun, it's expected that your little one may not co-operate. Forcing a situation or trying to get a child to do something they have decided they don't want to do is rarely productive. Nothing kills genuine smiles faster than a parent telling a child to stop, sit down and behave. If your little one isn't playing along, the best way to deal with them is play and distraction which always produces genuine smiles and laughter.
